North Texas Homeschool was created to serve as a central hub for homeschooling families across the North Texas region and make it easier for parents to discover the resources, programs, and opportunities available in their local community without spending countless hours searching through Facebook groups, websites, and online forums.
The directory brings together homeschool co-ops, hybrid programs, classes, sports organizations, and enrichment opportunities in one searchable location. Soon, it will also include a Private Educator Directory designed to connect families with specialists who support a wide range of student needs, from academic tutoring and learning differences to music instruction, athletic coaching, and other extracurricular pursuits. In addition, the site plans to feature a homeschool events calendar to help families stay informed about upcoming activities, field trips, workshops, and community gatherings. As the community grows, the resource library will continue to expand with carefully selected tools, guides, and recommendations for homeschool families.

Bonnie is a homeschooling mother of three with a passion for connecting families to meaningful educational opportunities and resources. Having homeschooled her children for several years, she understands both the rewards and challenges of navigating the homeschool landscape and recognizes the importance of a strong, supportive community.
Before focusing on homeschooling and educational advocacy, Bonnie built a successful career in information technology, serving as an IT security specialist and management consultant for Fortune 100 organizations. Throughout her career, she gained extensive experience working with complex technology environments, leading strategic initiatives, and collaborating with leaders across a wide range of industries and organizations.
Drawing from both her professional expertise and personal homeschooling experience, Bonnie founded North Texas Homeschool Group and built the North Texas Homeschool Directory to simplify the process of finding high-quality local resources for homeschooling families. Her goal is to help parents spend less time searching for information and more time investing in their children’s education, while fostering stronger connections within the North Texas homeschool community. Through the directory, resource network, and community partnerships, she is committed to helping families discover opportunities, find support, and thrive in their unique educational journeys.
